Long Island Divorce Attorneys | Nassau County Child Custody Hearings Lawyer

Divorce and Family Law Attorneys

The Long Island law firm of Tabat, Cohen, Blum & Yovino, LLP handles all divorce and child custody cases, from uncontested divorces to cases with complex division of assets. We are effective negotiators, but also renowned litigators.

Matrimonial Law

Our divorce attorneys are experienced in negotiating all terms of divorce agreements. We assign teams of attorneys and staff for case preparation and offer creative solutions to property distribution, custody and visitation, child support, spousal support and other issues. We usually achieve settlement agreements without litigating, but we are also sought out specifically for our divorce litigation skills.

Child Custody

Children come first when we negotiate custody agreements and visitation rights. We have handled many highly contested custody, change of custody and relocation cases at trial and we stay abreast of changes in the law. In fact, our partners frequently give seminars on this subject.

Equitable Distribution of Property

Identification, valuation and division of assets is more complicated than adding numbers and dividing by two. Tabat, Cohen, Blum & Yovino, LLP is especially adept at resolving the equitable distribution of marital assets in high-end property settlements. Our legal teams work to uncover hidden assets and analyze valuations for businesses, property, pensions, stocks, professional licenses and other assets, as well as presenting various settlement alternatives.

Tabat, Cohen, Blum & Yovino, LLP serves clients across Long Island, with offices in Nassau County (Garden City) and Suffolk County (West Islip). We represent a diverse clientele from Manhattan to the Hamptons. Contact us today to arrange your appointment with one of our five partners.
