Attorney Irene V. Villacci, with over 17 years’ of legal experience, has set the standard for exceptional representation and consultation in the areas of elder law, Medicaid planning, and estate & probate planning. Ms. Villacci obtained her Juris Doctorate from the Hofstra University of Law in 1989 and was admitted as an attorney in New York in 1990.

The law offices of IRENE V. VILLACCI, Attorney-at-Law, PLLC, was opened in February 2007. Prior to establishing her solo practice, Ms. Villacci was the Senior Associate Attorney at Feldman, Kramer & Monaco, PC, for 15 years, in their Elder Law, Trusts and Estates Department. She has written many articles and has given lectures to community groups to educate them regarding elder law and estate planning.

Ms. Villacci was certified as an Elder Law Attorney by the National Elder Law Foundation in 2001, and was recertified in 2006.* Ms. Villacci is certified to be a court-appointed Court Evaluator, Guardian ad Litem, Counsel to Guardians, and Referee in Nassau and Suffolk Counties.

A strong advocate in the area of Elder Law, Ms. Villacci is a member of the Elder Law Section, Trusts and Estates Section, and General Practice Section of the New York State Bar Association. Ms. Villacci has been a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys since 1994. She is a member of the Elder Law Committee and Surrogate’s Court Committee of the Nassau County Bar Association.

Ms. Villacci also participates in the Women’s Bar Association of the State of New York (WBASNY) and was a Past President of the Nassau County Women’s Bar Association, a chapter of the WBASNY. Currently, she is the Co-Chairperson of WBASNY’s Chapters Membership Committee and a member of the Permanent Convention Committee.

Ms. Villacci is also involved with pro bono work. She is a founding co-chairperson of the Pro Bono Clinic established by the Nassau County Women’s Bar Association and is the Immediate Past Chairperson of Advisory Council to Nassau-Suffolk Law Services, Inc., a non-profit pro bono legal agency.
