Michael, a partner of the Firm, represents clients in all aspects of family law. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, a member of the Family Law Section of the American Bar Association and currently serves, by appointment, on the Executive and Membership Committees for the Family Law Section of the New York State Bar Association and as the Secretary of the Matrimonial Law Committee of the Association of the Bar of the City of New York.
Michael was recently selected as one of the Ten Leaders in Matrimonial and Divorce Law in New York City under the age of 45. Prior to joining Sheresky Aronson Mayefsky & Sloan, LLP (then Sheresky Aronson & Mayefsky, LLP), Michael served as a law clerk to the Honorable Virginia M. Morgan of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan.
Michael has lectured for the American Bar Association and the New York State Bar Association. He is the author of Depositions Gone Wrong: The Seven Deadly Sins (Fall 2009), The Secret To Success: Using Witness Consultants to Prepare Your Client (Fall 2009), and co-authored Handling Your First Contested Divorce Case: Trial Preparation with firm partner, David Aronson. He has also contributed to the Matthew Bender and Co. publication New York Civil Practice: Matrimonial Actions.
He resides in Westchester County with his wife Karnit, also an attorney, and their two young children.
