RICHARD L. ALBRECHT is a principal in Cohen and Wolf, P.C.'s Litigation, Appellate and Family Law Groups. Dividing his time between the firm's Bridgeport and Westport offices, Mr. Albrecht maintains a distinguished practice representing clients in complex financial litigations, including matrimonial, estate, and family business matters.

Mr. Albrecht is a former prosecutor with significant experience in the management and trial of large cases involving multiple experts. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers. Mr. Albrecht serves on the faculty of the Connecticut Appellate Advocacy Institute and is a longstanding member of the Professional Ethics Committee of the Connecticut Bar Association.

Mr. Albrecht is admitted to practice in Connecticut; New York; and the U.S. District Court, Southern District of New York; U.S. District Court, Eastern District of New York; and U.S. Court of Appeals, Second Circuit.

Mr. Albrecht received his B.S. in 1959 from Bucknell University and his J.D. in 1962 from Cornell Law School.
