James D. Diamond has been practicing criminal law since 1988. He has tried more than twenty-five criminal jury cases, which include charges of murder, manslaughter, kidnapping, larcenies, narcotics cases and sexual assaults. He was an accomplished Connecticut State prosecuting attorney for six years, and was a partner in the Ridgefield, CT law firm of Reese, Hirsch, Diamond, and Shoults for seven years. Prior to coming to Connecticut, Mr. Diamond was an advisor to New York State Attorney General, Robert Abrams. He obtained a Bachelor's Degree Cum Laude in Political Science from the State University of New York at Albany in 1981 and a Juris Doctor Degree from Brooklyn Law School in 1988. From 1990 through 2005 he was an adjunct professor at Western Connecticut State University.
