In medical malpractice cases, doctors and hospitals rarely admit responsibility for their errors. With substantial support from their insurance companies, they aggressively defend cases even where there has been clear malpractice. Despite this fact, we continue to achieve success at trial due to our commitment to obtaining justice for our clients.
From our offices in Bridgeport, Stamford, Danbury and New Haven, Connecticut, our team of trial lawyers handles cases for individuals, groups and businesses who have suffered serious personal injuries or losses resulting from malpractice, negligence, civil rights violations, or corporate misconduct. KK&B is proud to say that 70 percent of the firm's cases come from referrals from other attorneys, who refer serious personal injury and medical malpractice cases to us because of our experience and record of achievement.
Clients come to KK&B to secure settlements of their claims or, if necessary, enforce their legal rights in court. We handle many of the most high profile cases in the news. Some of our malpractice and personal injury cases have established new records for jury verdicts and settlements in Connecticut. Others have resulted in important changes in the conduct of health care providers, product manufacturers and other corporate and governmental defendants.
