Russ Corker is regarded as one of the leading medical malpractice and personal injury trial attorneys in Long Island and Southern New York. With his rare intellectual depth, he understands the medical processes that are usually the province of the most specialized physicians. After graduating from Boston University School of Law in 1974, he was Assistant District Attorney of Nassau County, and then practiced in a firm that represented doctors and hospitals in medical malpractice lawsuits. In 1980, he joined Shayne, Dachs and became the principal trial attorney representing plaintiffs in medical malpractice, personal injury, labor law, and products liability cases.

Mr. Corker has built a solid reputation for thoroughness, creativity, professional integrity, and consistent courtroom success. He has recently been voted as one of the Ten Leaders of Civil Trial Law, one of the Top Ten Trial Attorneys on Long Island, and has been designated a "Super Lawyer", one of the top five percent of attorneys in the New York Metro area.
